The FED's Action Gives New Meaning to "Cash Cow"

The Federal Reserve is Hoofing It, Again… to Jump Start the Economy

In a recent Reuters poll, economists gave Federal Reserve System Chairman Ben Bernanke an “8” out of “10” for his handling of the economic crisis. With the unemployment rate still climbing and the economy sputtering, one wonders what these economists were smoking to give Mr. Bernanke such high marks. Connecticut Senator Christopher Dodd, a Democrat who chairs the Senate Banking Committee, said giving the Fed more authority “is like having a parent giving his son a bigger, faster car, right after he crashed the family station wagon”.

One might expect that a poll among agronomists will show similar adoration about Bernanke’s impending, bold move to fortify our money. Dubbed by agronomists at the Fed as the A.C.T.I.O.N. Plan (Anticipatory Cattle Transfusions In Our Nation), the latest bailout plan will invigorate the suffering, cattle industry. The Fed has figured out how to feed cattle with Federal Reserve Notes. By adding vitamins, minerals, fiber and carbohydrates to Federal Reserve Notes, cattlemen will be able to feed money to their cattle instead of expensive commodities like corn.

The new money will have different flavors and nutritional amounts based on the denomination of each note. The one dollar note will be “basic oats” flavor. The two dollar bill will taste like bananas. Chimpanzees have found the two dollar bills most appealing. The Fed will add a new three dollar bill to honor diversity. It will taste like “tutee-fruity”. In anticipation of human consumption of money, the five dollar notes will taste like Soylent Green1. In addition to keeping you “fed”, the new Federal Reserve Notes can cost effectively keep you warm, too!

Mr. Bernanke said that this latest stimulation measure was received in the Federal Reserve’s Suggestion Box. Mr. B told reporters at a recent conference that the Fed welcomes all jump starting ideas because they realize that there must be more really good ones out there waiting to be tested on the public.

Thats the money you could be saving on NO BAILOUTS!
Thats the money you could be saving with NO BAILOUTS!

Obama has been quite busy lately.  Defending his massive spending bill.  Defending his massive bailouts.  Defending his decision to reverse several Bush policies.  While I am certainly no fan of Bush, I have to question why Obama needed so desperatley to reverse that policy banning federal funding of abortion clinics in foreign countries.  Well, we have talked about that already so lets move on.  Now we have to be told why we need to spend 4 Billion tax dollars on dead end energy research and a few billion more on rock cleaning in Antigua.  Of course, fearless leader decries the “pork earmarks” which old man McCain loves to cry about also.  What they fail to consider is that earmarks at least allow money already stolen by the federal government to come back into the communities they were stolen from.  But NO!  Earmarks are evil, because stolen money should be stolen completely!   How dare you idiotic comman man question trillions of dollars in bailout money and removal of private equity in the banking industry when people are getting some of their tax money back to help make their communities more livable!  Those are the true villians!!!!! (According to fearless leader at least.)

Regardless of what you may think about abortion, that a human isn’t alive until it is self supporting, usually 10 or 12 years old, or that life begins at conception; I believe Obama’s first decision as President  seems a bit confusing.  It’s not so much the fact that he overturns the order banning federal funding of abortion, of course, as a massive government socialist he would do that;  rather, it is that in a time of critical economic downturn and uncertainty about the future he overturns the order allowing taxpayer money to be used to subsidise abortions OUTSIDE the US.  To me, that seems fundamentally wrong.  You claim we have not enough money to provide for the poor and needy in your own country, but you immediately open the floodgates of sending what little money we have overseas to kill children.  And don’t think we wont send that money. 35 minutes after signing the bill, a clinic in Tunisia received it’s first batch of US money since Clinton was in charge in 1997.
But, there is one way in which this does make sense.  By promoting and paying for foreign abortions you reduce the number of future soldiers in countries we will eventually occupy, and you increase the possibility of the spread of AIDS, since there will be even less (there was little to begin with) concern about creating a child.  Men can now feel safely allowed to rape women, since the woman can now use US money to kill what you create inside her.  Nice and easy package deal here, maybe it isn’t so bad after all.
