{"id":65,"date":"2009-01-15T06:30:36","date_gmt":"2009-01-14T22:30:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.greatwizard.net\/?p=65"},"modified":"2009-01-24T00:11:12","modified_gmt":"2009-01-23T16:11:12","slug":"mercedes-sl65-amg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.greatwizard.net\/?p=65","title":{"rendered":"2009 Mercedes SL65 AMG"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" title=\"SL65 side\" src=\"http:\/\/video.kbb.com\/photo\/sl65_side2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"351\" height=\"280\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The redesigned\u00a0 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Roadster receives a mild face lift.\u00a0 The car exhibits a more angular and &#8216;angry&#8217; facade that looks very appealing in the new era of super cars.\u00a0 The unchanged AMG 6.0-litre V12 biturbo engine puts down an astounding 738 ft-lbs. of torque at only 2000 rpm.\u00a0 Coupled with 604hp available at 4800 rpm, this is one super convertible hardtop, and although 0-60 in 4.2 seconds is no longer the fastest of the fast, its still byond respectable.\u00a0 The car is extremely heavy coming in at over 4550 pounds, and I am not sure why the automatic transmission only offers five speeds.\u00a0 With a limited top speed of 155mph, I think a sixth gear would have been beneficial for cruising.\u00a0 The car comes fully loaded, the only option apart from color being the $2,230 adaptive cruise control.
