In Rockman 2, Dr. Wily was defeated by Rockman and thrown in jail. However, soon he escaped and had created eight brand new Robot Masters to help him try again in taking over the world. Once again, having a strong sense of justice, Rockman sets off to stop Dr. Wily from trying to take over the world yet again.
The Rockman Complete Works series was only released in Japan.
