  • Strength of the World

In a show of the resolute nature of the US mission in Iraq, President Bush engaged in a strong hand shake with Frau Merkel, the German headmistress. While unsure of why the president was squeezing her hand so tightly, F. Merkel responded in kind in an effort to show solidarity with the leader of the US. After watching the President wring his hand and break down in tears, European Commission President José Manuel Barroso commented on how empathetic the US President was.  ‘He certainly feels the suffering of the commen man.’  After a quick tour of the Croatian wine country, President Bush headed back to Washington to ‘get closer to the situation in Iraq.’ It is strong shows of determination like this that paint a clear picture of the powerful and certain future of the USA.

  • Allah Ackbar! Allah OK!

Muslims like to burn stuff. Usually such items as flags or pictures and posters. The common American citizen gets upset when he sees a backwater Pakistani burn an American flag. The American thinks that the Pakistani is really upset about the policies of the US in regards to the Muslim world. Wrong. Muslims like to burn stuff. The Pakistani Cricket coach Bob Woolmer died this weekend after a shocking Pakistani loss to Ireland. The Pakistanis instead of mourning the death or even some good old fashioned Canadian rioting of the loss, decided to burn posters of the Pakistani players. Muslims like to burn stuff. I recently visited Pakistan and for the heck of it started burning pictures of prophets of Islam while chanting nonsensical rantings. Sure enough within minutes I was joined by hundreds of Muslims who normally would be worshipping those religious icons. Nothing bonds Muslims like fire and chanting. At least one thing is certain from this experiment. Mulsims like to burn stuff.

  • THEY’RE COMING TO TAKE YOU AWAY, HAHA!

Hundreds of thousands are dying in Darfur. The world is crying out for USA and the UN to do something about it. Of course, the moment the USA decides to take action they will be accused of ‘policing the world.’ The USA can’t win. And why does it matter? If the US gave away every ounce of wealth and prosperity they’ve created over the years to African nations torn apart by civil war… the US would be reminiscent of Mad Max, and Africa would still be killing and raping each other for fun. Apart from a handful of well meaning celebrities who really can’t understand the world around them anymore (Bono – I appreciate your desire for a better world, but you don’t understand human nature very well, no matter how many songs about small boys and old men you write) no one speaking out for a resolution knows anything about the place. Certainly they have never been there and witnessed firsthand the atrocity and absolute terror that reigns supreme. It can’t be stopped. The heart of darkness lives on in Africa. We tried to help in Somalia and look what that got. Absolutely Nothing. Well, maybe a worse situation and the movie “Black Hawk Down,” neither of which were worth the effort. All in all, nothing is going to help Africa, and several other parts of the globe. Unless of course the UN finally does what the Birch society said it would do: The Final Solution.
